Interesting: The peoples governing entities conspiring to buy and
sell land to circumvent rules meant to protect the peoples interest?

"Government of the People, by the People, for the
People '' is the invocation of the usa; a ‘supposed’, democratic
republic. Yet examples of the people's elected officials promoting and
supporting interests—while defending the oligarch—over and detrimental to the
people themselves are proudly displayed and championed throughout! Just
as interesting; communities larger and even similar in size to windsor
express culture through their libraries. Instead windsors effort to
discourage independent thought prevails? Additionally: in light of
Krogers acquisition/s --where unions and farmers along with ‘some’
government officials have expressed concern--makes one wonder what is
windsors and/or individuals unpublicized take in all of this? Think
about it. It is not simply an effort to attract a new grocery store
because corporate welfare (incentives) are limitless.
As one
ponders the above, consider the Coloradoan report that the library can't
sell to a private entity. Adding; the land was for a 'regional library'
for Windsor, Severance, and Greeley. Yet windsor, the ‘town’,
themselves decide to spend over a million dollars ‘making’ a deal for
private interests without a vote of actual people from the varying
communities. From the outside looking in something just doesn't seem
right.
Another thing to consider is windsors downtown. Having a
regional library in the location currently earmarked would add to the
experience of old town and the lake with its trails and other amenities.
With
the reasons mentioned above; along with others yet to be exposed, one
must be ever vigilant as We The People demand true representation from
and by our elected officials. Oh and as the argument ensues and special
interests declare location, location, location. Keep in mind: if the
land is sold it would then become the burden of the library district to
find and pay for another ‘million dollar’ location. Good luck with that.'

Aaron, thank you for reading my blog's timestamp. It's surprising how many people assumed my post was in response to the school board meeting, fueling accusations of misrepresentation.

No, my post wasn't about the school board meeting, it was addressing the behavior from May 13-15 that prompted school district leadership to send a mass communication with a sternly-worded option: start your summer early if mask-wearing for 4 more days is a undo burden. Given that most professionals loathe working Saturdays, I inferred that interactions prompted district leadership to urgently construct such a drastic response.

Thanks for your blogging advice. I've had this blog since 2005, writing nearly 900 posts. I'm not a journalist, I just have opinions and sometimes post them here. I also post drum cover videos and pictures of posters I design. I certainly hope people don't look at my blog as a facilitator for conversation between both parties with open hearts and minds - that's what neighborhood gatherings are for. This is for me to rant my thoughts and see if it resonates with anyone.

I had two goals for this post: 1) Tell berated teachers and administrators that they're seen and supported 2) Asking ardent critics to stop being jerks to educators in the last week of the hardest year of their career.

Jack, I'm not going to debate the merits of masks. My post was simply regarding the timing of the dissent . Regardless of who prompted the decisions for the policies, it's the teachers that have to implement them and they're the ones that witness and experience the brunt of resistance. Parents who struggle to hide their disdain of the policies often pass that skepticism onto their kids, which results in defiance. I do appreciate parents that try to shield their dissent from their kids, but as we all know children will often model their parents behavior without understanding the nuance respectful disagreement.

As for "downstream impacts": any sudden implementation of a policy without an impact analysis gives way to unforeseen complications and risks. We saw it with the FDA suspension of the J&J Vaccine, or with many emotionally-based overnight gun policy pushes. Selectively eliminating one mitigation policies calls all of them into question. There's a time an place to reconsider *all* mitigation policies, but three days left in the school year isn't it.

I must also comment and re-iterate what others are saying. I do not believe that I saw you at this meeting. If you were, I would have loved to have a chat with you. If not, you might think about speaking of things that are not through second-hand experience.

What is confusing to me, is how you posted this on the 16th. So, it couldn't have been in response to the respectful, passionate, and encouraging meeting we had last night.

A mob you say? Since when did a unified group of people speaking from their hearts within time constraints and meeting guidelines turn into a mob? If you continue to rant/blog, you might think about the wording you use and what the ultimate result of your writing is going to be. Is this helpful to the community? Is this helpful to encouraging open and factual conversation where both parties actually listen with open hearts and minds? What was your intent with this write-up?

It's wonderful you support the teachers like you do. However, you're making it sound like the "outrage mob" doesn't. No one has said the strain of this past year is because of teachers. No, we are blaming the policy makers. The authorities that take and use our tax dollars. We didn't ask "educators to re-imagine everything." It was the policy makers that did that. We thank you educators for continuing to work for such bureaucratic individuals that put politics ahead of the health and safety of our children. We know the teachers are just doing what they are told. In fact, I think your next blog should be entitled, How Administrators Made Educators Re-imagine Everything. You can even throw in there the emotional pain this has put on the parents. One other thing, you mentioned "Immediately changing this single policy doesn’t take into account the downstream impacts this would have on others and the difficulty of immediate policy change amidst the end of the school year." What would those downstream impacts be? Without data or facts that statement is just words much like the rest of what you said. Good Morning Jeromey, just curious if you were at the school board meeting last night? Because I was, and if you were, perhaps you missed the multiple occasions where parents THANKED and showed appreciation for in person learning this year. Your ramblings appear to be a prime example of selective listening.
While some parents have been petitioning the board to make masks optional for some time now, many of the parents stressed that NEXT school year, in the fall, masks and all mitigation techniques need to be re-evaluated and to look at the data that is now available in making those decisions.

I have had mine for over a year and love it more every time I use it. Yes, I did have the same problem at the start but quickly learned the solutions and have never had another problem with it. My first error was to try to flush the system using the classic brew button. That meant that the clean cycle was interrupted and did not finish. Therefore, the light stayed on. When cleaning... no button but the clean button should be used. Also, that 15 minute window is also not to be ignored or again... the cleaning cycle does not finish and you have to do it all over again. We just bought the new model CF091 a week ago. After we make 3-4 cups of coffee, the red clean light comes on and if I don't clean it immediately, I start getting less than half a cup of coffee!!
So, I clean it, flush it, make 3-4 cups and boom!! Clean light is on again!! Wtf???

I used about a cup of vinegar and filled the tank the rest of the way with water. Turned the setting to a full pot and hit the clean button... I let it run for about 30 seconds and pushed the clean button again to pause it... let it set 30 minutes and pushed the clean button again and let it run... I came back a bit later, put about a cup of straight vinegar in and pushed the clean button again... it pushed it through to the pot and then said "flush"... I poured the pot of vinegar/water into the tank and pushed the clean button again... it filled up the pot and then the display went back to the time of day... yes!! I ran a couple of tanks of water through it to flush it out... good to go !!

I received mine from my daughter this past christmas and 1 month later the cleaning light came on on and hasn't gone off since. I've cleaned it in Jan, Feb, Mar and now in Apr the light blinks continuously. I just cleaned it yesterday and it won't go out. My daughter gave the same one to a friend and it still works fine with no light on yet. . The Last christmas of 2016 my son gave me a Keurig and by the end of September the machine kept making less and less coffee, then started sputtering out coffee all over the counter until I called Keurig , and they gave me every excuse in the world , including telling me I don't clean it correctly, but would not take the machine back even with 3 1/2 months left of warranty. My daughter had given a better model keurig to my son and wife and his is still working after a year. I read reviews on the basic keurig model I have and all complaints are the same as mine. I now have 2 big machines taking up counter top space and I think will go back to my Mr. coffee that has been working for 10 yrs now. I've never had to DESCALE that coffee pot. I'm not impressed with any of these expensive machines at all. And companies don't give a d--- about standing behind their products or warranties . This country is so sad.

Just one more thanks. It's been stuck on cln for months. I saw the notices and was sure I'd have to send my Ninja in for repairs, and I didn't want to give it up. Now, why don't they just post the fix like you did?

im in the same boat. have tried descaling solution, vinegar, even let CLR sit in it over night........ nothing. I guess you need to run H2SO4 through this thing to get it clean. gaah.

The History Channel's movie on Hitler depicted him the victim of allied gas attacks in WWI and implied that was the reason he committed his crimes against humanity, It also portrayed him in a favorable light in every other way. Many of their other movie/documentaries are just as bad or worse. The worst part about this is that that they use these films in many of our schools

Oh my word! I thought "Flush" was part of the cleaning cycle, and it was going to do it, itself. Sheesh. I will try this. I hope they rewrote their manual, which left that part out!

I'm in this battle right now, and it's been SO frustrating! I've been able to make the clean light go away in the past, and now it's just staying on. And it HAS to be as clean as a whistle right now, for as many cleanings as I've put it through...

I'm really sorry but for some reason I can't locate the PDF. I'll keep looking, but all the PDF said was to fill the basin up with a water/vinegar mix (I used 1/3 vinegar) run the clean cycle by setting to a full pot and hit "clean". Wait for it to finish (it took an hour me) and within 15 minutes of it completing (with it saying "flush"), fill the water tank to full and hit the "clean" button again to flush the water through. The clean cycle was then complete and the light was now off. If the "flush" isn't on the display, then you'll need to start the cleaning cycle again.

Any possibility of sharing the PDF you received? My coffee bar has both required cleaning within the span of a week (not my "normal" experience) and has the drop stop light consistently on despite conditions to the contrary. I don't believe the machine will allow another cleaning until the drip stop light (function) disappears.

I had a coffee maker exactly like the one in the above picture. the clean light kept coming on with every make.. even straight after it had just been cleaned. My kids felt bad for me and bought me the new Ninja Coffee Bar, and guess what, I had it for two weeks and it stopped working all together. Ninja sucks.

Mine will not make a full pot of coffee, what I have been doing is pour a mug from the carafe then turn it to 1/2 carafe and then you get a full pot of coffee.

I've had the same issue for months now. I also got mine this past Christmas. Initially, I thought it might be my water so I started using filtered bottled water and still always says "Clean". I now run clean cycles every other day and the CLN light never turns off. I am hopeful that whatever this PDF is of other cleaning instructions will work...if they'll ever send it to me.
